RAK - Mother's Day

As is our monthly practice, Varsity Fusion did their Random Act of Kindness (RAK) this past Sunday -- honoring the mothers of our community for their love and dedication to future generations. This month, we decided to buy a bunch of flowers and randomly bless those mothers who were out and about doing their thankless motherly duties... some were grocery shopping, some were working, some were paying outrageous prices to gas up their family vehicles, etc.

The whole experience was fantastic! Since we've been doing this for quite awhile, we've found that you win some and you lose some when trying to come up with ideas to randomly bless people, but this was a definite winner. One of our groups even went back to the store and bought more flowers because they ran out too fast and didn't want to stop early! Everyone had a good time and the mothers that received the flowers were shocked, appreciative, and definitely blessed.

Here are a few more pics of the event:

That was SO much fun! I think that was my favorite Random Act of Kindness that we've done so far. At least since I've been going to youth group. I loved it so much!
