Last week was one of those tough weeks that I’ll remember for awhile. Saturday, April 12th was when it all started.
THREAT ONE. On my way home from Blockbuster, I got pulled over on Lincolnway for running a red light. I didn’t run it terribly, but I was definitely deserving of the ticket that I received.
THREAT TWO. On Tuesday, I was playing some basketball with some kids at the park. I went up for a rebound, came down, and sprained my ankle.
THREAT THREE. After hobbling around on crutches for a couple days, by the grace (and healing) of God I was able to put enough pressure on it to fly a much anticipated flight to Steamboat Springs, CO on Friday. Sounds like a pretty decent ending to a rough few days, right? Well, Saturday morning I got a call from the Steamboat Springs Police Department saying that someone had turned in my wallet and I was welcome to pick it up anytime. (I felt sick to stomach) Since it’s a 3 hr drive one way, I opted for them mailing it to me at their convenience. (little did I know that, once Monday rolled around, life would get complicated without my military id, my drivers license, credit cards, cash, etc.) What a week!
Hallelujah anyhow! Like the video clip on Sunday said… if my week is good, I’ll praise Him; if it’s bad, I’ll praise Him… for He deserves the praise.
